cross-cultural LEADERSHIP SEMINAR (CCL)

Cross-Cultural Leadership Seminar

Participants: Executives, managers or functional specialists who need a broader, more comprehensive perspective on how to lead across cultural differences and demographic groups.

Facilitator: Al Vivian, President & CEO of Vivian Consulting Group, or one of our approved trainers.

Duration: 1 Day

Process/Overview: Leadership -v- management approach to cross-cultural interactions – Management is about policies and procedures; but Leadership is about inspiration, motivation and vision. Management enforces existing structures — overseeing policies and procedures. But LEADERSHIP makes the difference — it engages, inspires and creates vision. Although management (policies and procedures) is necessary, it lacks the capacity to truly create a culturally competent environment, which is a fundamental component for success in the 21st century. With the exponential change in demographics and the affects of globalization, leaders must be equipped with the competencies and skills necessary to lead the most diverse workforce in the history of the world. This seminar will empower participants with the requisite skills and competencies to progress forward from the old school Diversity Management mindset to the forward thinking cross-cultural leadership (CCL) mindset.
